I am honored to serve you as the Judge of the 325th District Court. This is a Family Law Court serving all of Tarrant County. It is charged with hearing matters involving divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, family violence, and - my personal favorite - adoptions.
With over 26 years as a working attorney and judge, I am the only candidate in this race with legitimate Family Court experience. I am proud of my record and experience in family, civil, mental health, and probate law.
As a tax-payer and a citizen, you will be proud to know that I have worked hard to keep the Court's backlog down. I have consistently maintained one of the lowest backlogs in the Tarrant County Family Courts.
Even more important are the rights of the children for which this Court is responsible. I am dedicated to protecting their rights, and, unlike my opponent I have the training and expertise to do so.
I hope that you agree that efficient conduct of the Court's business and dedication to the rights of children are crucial concerns for your Family District Judge. Your support and vote would be greatly appreciated.
I want you to know, too, that I have been greatly honored by the awards I have received from the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Family Bar Association. I am honored, as well, by the endorsements of respected Tarrant County Republicans.
I sincerely believe in public service. In addition to my duties as District Judge, I have served for the last seven years as Judicial Liaison to the project team that created your new Tarrant County Family Law Center. Our new courthouse is a beautiful, safe, and technologically-advanced building where the Rule of Law can be practiced every day. I hope that you will find some time to visit your wonderful new courthouse.
I promise that if re-elected, I will continue to serve you, the citizens of Tarrant County, and especially the most vulnerable among us, the children, with the same drive, determination, and dedication that I have for the last 14 years.
Please take the time to vote for a qualified and experienced judiciary. The work of the 325th Family District Court is far too important to the people of Tarrant County to hand it to someone who has no demonstrated commitment to Family Law and Public Service.
